Trans Competency and Inclusivity for ASL Interpreting

Descriptive: [Background black with blue, pink, and white colors of words. Trans* Competency and Inclusivity for ASL interpreters. Presented by Hunta Williams (left) and Lucian Blanks (right), this 3-Day workshop will not be a “Trans* 101” but will instead provide interpreters (DI/CDI definitively included) with tools and considerations of how to navigate their job while working to reduce instances of Trans* clients being harmed through misgendering, using the wrong name, and much more as the public presence of the Trans* community continues to bloom.
